It's dragonality. Best dome you'll ever get is from a fire breathing dragon. Hands down.

videos i have seen FG400 cuts pretty close or almost the same to M105
It does with almost no dust at all (sometimes none at all) and is the easiest polish I have ever removed from a vehicle. Finishes down as good as m205 from my experience. I haven't used the v series and detailersclub had them so I thought about buying a bottle with my order but T said within the next month Menzerna products should be up on there so imma wait it out. I have about 31.5 oz of Menzerna FG400 left so I should be set for a while for a cutting compound.

I don't mean to be that guy (to change the subject) but I have come upon an extra few hundred and am looking at a Flex 3401 or a Rupes LHR 15es.

I like the idea of the forced rotation but have heard it's very difficult to stop the Rupes motor as well. I don't like the whole idea of "You should only use our products with our machine" that rupes is pushing out but have read a lot of complaints about the Flex "walking" and being a beast to work with.

Just ordered a watch btw. I got that Citizens Chronograph. The wife fell in love with it as well. She got a Bulova diamond collection.
Get the Rupes.

I love my Flex 3041 but the Rupes is a whole different ball game. I recommend trying one out if you can, I got to use a friends a few weeks ago and I cant wait to get my own. It's just that good.

Just went to the Coin Wash and Gave here a Spay Down. Not Perfect but I got a lot of the Salt off. Im pissed that I cant keep my car clean. This is the Only thing I HATE about The Minnesota Winters. I did noticed a few things about. I did do a M105/205 Correction Early last fall in July, I Must say that, Even though there are some Swerls and it does need a correction, Its Not terrible. The other Thing I Noticed was I found Some paint bubbling on the passenger side door. Right in that Crease where the Door meets the Front Fender. :bash:.

After I Sprayed it down

I hope you didn't use the brush lol.
But does coin washes have a filter system for hard water if so that's awesome

I stripped off all my failing wax with 5oz of glossworks and a squirt of dawn in a 5 gallon bucket. Did a full decontamination with mothers clay and UWW+, IPA wipedown and one layer synthetic wax. I want to test the durability and effectiveness of this stuff so I won't be layering it or using a carnauba. I'm hoping for a big difference when I upgrade to a better sealant.

I want a rupes pretty bad. Ive made almost 700 dollars detailing this month but it all has a place to go lol. Im seriously considering getting one soon, Ive heard nothing but good things about them and they are supposed to save alot of time as well. Id still keep my Griots, probably keep the 3" BP on it.

Ive also read that taking the BP off the rupes and re-installing it with a small washer to space the BP slightly further off the housing essentially deactivates the "antispin" feature of the rupes and really helps unlock more power out of the machine, making it harder to stall or stop rotation ect.

Also know this shook, the forced rotation of a Flex SUCKs with MF pads. With MF pads, the key to the cut is the fact that the rotation speed slows when you apply pressure but the oscillation speed does not. This allows the fibers on the MF pad to remain "up" and cut. The forced rotation of the flex means that the rotation speed doesn't change when you apply pressure. So the high speed rotation creates centrifugal force that causes the MF pad fibers lay down very fast, which means less cut and less working time. Whereas on griots, rupes, pc, the rotation slows down quite a bit when pressure is applied allowing MF pad to do it job the way its designed to.

That's good to know. I heard complaints very similar to that. I absolutely love my GG I just wish it didn't vibrate as much, wasn't as loud and didn't stop on edges. Maybe I'll throw the money elsewhere. A foam lance for my pressure washer probably. The GG has done well for me and it has a lifetime warranty.
The vibration is the thing that gets me too, hence why i want a rupes.

BUT shook, i seriously suggest a pressure washer and foam lance if you dont already have one. It helps a TON in reducing swirls and also gives you the ability to "touchless" wash cars that arent very dirty.

Anyone know if FG400 cuts more or less than v36. Same question about v34.

I think vader is right, it def cuts more than v36, probably something between v34 and 105

Ill swap you 8oz of v36 for 8oz of FG400, i have a brand new bottle of v36 coming in tomorrow from DC. I even still have a little left in my current v36 so you can have the actual container. PM me.

Get the Rupes.

Chris buy me one. lol
