Phayze, why don't you finish peeling off the plasti-dip? It's weirding me out.

No no. Vin is a v6, it stays a v6. 4.2 stroker, 13mm head studs, girdle, forged rods/pistons, ported heads/lower intake, etc. Its getting everything but 4 bolt mains on the 2 center main bearings.

03torchGT.. itll prob be a year until i put it back together. I want to build the IRS and rebuild the 4r70w along with the new engine before it goea back together.

I labeled all the connectors and put all the bolts in labelled bags to help with the install.

Fixxed!!! :shiftyeyes
Hahaha me too.

Have you decided what you're doing with the hood? Paint wise.
I say paint it yrllow!

I just started it one day and while driving to work, smoke was billowing out of the hood. I popped the hood when i got to work(only a 10 block drive) the valve cover breathers were the sources of the smoke.

This motor had 152k miles on it, all the pistons looks burnt up, but the rings/cylinder walls look good for that much milage. I can still see thr cross hatching on the cylinder walls. Even the rod bearings look great, i never saw less than 65psi oil pressure on the motor too.

I figured you built the motor before the supercharger. Lso you were putting the power down on a stock motor?

Cowl hoods are just so sexy. You leaving the stripes off then?

I would agree. But I know he had a poll up a while back about leaving all or some black.
I think its gonna stay stripeless. My buddy is pestering the hell out of me to restripe it. .

Didnt see the poll. Black hood scoop would look good. I was actually concidering painting the sides of my scoop black so it stands out a lil more

Correct sir. Never hit a dyno to see my numbers but was putting 15psi through it all summer. I had conservative timing because we were having issues with the datalog shutting off when the meth pump turned on.

I prefer a cowl stripeless but those side cowl stripes were exactly what I was thinking Gravik's car could pull off, lal.
They look good when done with other black accents.
Yeah. I have an appointment for the 15th to get it painted :yes
Nice. Stripeless is my preference 97% of the time.

Fine. I'll consider peeling off the front bumper lol
