That porsche sounds like you could have some fun with it.
How can I get one of those decals?

In detailing news, my DC shipment should be here tomorrow. Last I checked it was in Kennesaw, GA.
Those cars are super cool, pretty light iirc, and have plenty of room to shove a stroker motor in there, lol. Throw some coilovers and forged wheels on it and it would be a very fast and nimble machine.

As far as the decals go, Im sure there is a way to buy them, but i received 2 decals and a Tshirt from Autoguide for being a Tech Exchange Editor and making a certain number of writeups. One more article and <That medal turns blue and i think i get more stuff lol. idk

Get a rolling stool or chair, will save your muscles big time on the verticle panels.

Spray the webbing off with a hose

+1 Water usually does the trick.

But there are many products you can spray on a spider that will kill it and not hurt your paint. I kill bugs all the time with detailing supplies LOL.

But just hose her down that outta fix the issue, about another month and you wont see many bugs, itll be too cold.

shell still see em lol most likely shell be garaged once the salt hits the road, but thanks i know sometimes it sticks and don't wanna rub it around my paint with a microfiber cloth lol

Doing a parking lot waterless wash detail on Friday for one of the residents I valet park at my job. If this goes well I'll be doing more residents cars. Gonna do a uww+ waterless wash, wheel and tire wipedown, glass cleaning inside and out and powerlock and rain x to seal. I really hope she's pleased with the results this woman isn't exactly easy to please....

My UWW+, sig series wheel cleaner, and opti-bond got delivered today.
I have marriage and chem classes until 2:50 and then I can go get my package.
Planned on trying them out Sunday.

Any specific way I need to use the UWW?

Just follow the directions on the bottle for mixing and spray away. At least that's what I do.

Looks like I'm going to have to put off my full detail...I thought I had fixed my leaking differential but apparently not. I'm going to have to pull the exhaust and give another shot at fixing it tonight. Will probably be too worn out from doing that to try and use a buffer all night long.

Just make sure you use distilled water. What I do is buy a gallon of distilled water, pour about 3 ounces out, pour 3 ounces uww into the jug shake it up and boom. Magical spray detailer. The bottle is cool, take the cap off the measuring box thing, and squeeze the bottle until an ounce is filled up to the marker

I have hated this Subaru since day I drove it home. Biggest regret purchase I ever made.
I can understand that. Personally, I would not buy the Veloster. Someone at CG has one and I hate most things about it.

If I were you and wanted a hatch, I would get Focus ST or a Fiesta ST.

Some guy came to CG 2 weeks ago and he let me drive his Focus ST. I was very impressed with everything about the car.

Not detailed related but contemplating ditching wrx for a veloster turbo.
Focus ST! For the same price you paid for the subaru you could get a fully loaded ST, 252hp, 270tq with a solid motor that gets great mileage too. And its a 4dr so the wife would approve lol.

If i wasnt such a big fan of a v8 and rwd id get one, lol. Great balance between practicality and performance. Im still trying to not buy a mustang, i miss having a quick car ALOT lol. I miss the sound the most tho.

Im really starting to dig my focus, even tho its nothing special, its nice to have a nimble little hatch again. I dont think its going anywhere any time soon. lol. I cant imagine how nice and fun the new focuses STs are. Every review ive read on them has been very positive.

Took the words out of my mouth haha, the new focus ST is just down right sick lol, i sat in one at the autoshow and bout busted a nut. has the performance too.

Also im willing to bet the paint/clearcoat on the focus would be better then the veloster. hardness and thickness wise

for the price of a ST to get a decent one I would rather buy a 12 GT
For me, its cheaper to actually have 2 cars. Sounds weird, but it is.

I have the stang I drive alot, but the best i can average is 18 MPG total.

So i have another car that is cheap, and gets better MPG. My 530i get about 26 MPG Average an i am clocking 30MPG highway. If the car break, I can throw it away and get another one.

I have a 85 miles commute round trip everyday... so MPG matter to me at this moment in my life.
