Thanks that what I thought as well because the Stock dipstick actually read properly in the Lokar tube. They only sent me the wrong dipstick.

Sure did, the fact is the dipstick is to short, if you take the LOKAR one out and put in the stock one it reads perfectly.

yes because by the looks of it you have the same length as me. I will tell you its a breeze getting that thing in but im trying to figure out where to mount it. Ill wait on mounting it until I install my headers.

ill let you know what I find out tomorrow.

Mines installed. Slid right it. I'm mounting it to the strut tower.
I'm doing the same thing but ill be using an al thread rod to keep it away from the tower. So did you not notice your oil did stick was not picking up much when you installed it.

Got Confirmation and a tracking number last night, It looks like my CG HOT side will be here Friday at some point. So i should have a running car by Sometime Saturday. As soon as I get the car running if it will run ill drive it Sunday and do a few break in miles and Schedule the DYNO as soon As Bob can get me in.


Scott do you still have your stock dipstcik tube? If so then just swap the Dipsticks and youll see the dirfference.

The Dyno has been scheduled!!


I have alot of work to do this weekend to get the car running but it is totally realistic. Then next week I will finish up the exhaust and Boom get ready for the Dyno tune.

Are you just trying to get her up and running or are you going to actually try and make some big #'s? What kind of expectations do you have?
I'm going all out!! I built this thing to take a beating and that's what's getting ready to happen.

Im not honestly sure what kind of fuel I am running as of yet. I want to run E-85 but there is not a station within 30 miles. If I run 110 its about 8$ a gallon but all over the place here where I live.

Most definitely and that's what we did last time. I still have both my tunes on my SCT Tuner which is why my car fired right up. IDE day it will run pretty good on my old tune since it was calibrated with the exact same injectors, MAF etc. Ill probably go for the 110 this time since it is convenient if I can afford to run it but I'm a cheap skate and don't want to lol.

While I got a couple days down What do you all think for a roll bar? Im open to some advice/brands and input. Maybe it was a good thing i got the weekend free now to put some Glow plugs in the F-350.

FYI this whole install took me less then 20 Minutes

Got the Lokar Dipstick mounted tonight, still blowing my mind on why the stock one reads oil as normal and the Lokar does not I found about a 3/4 difference in readings. Only thing I can think is the lokar is not solid like the stock stick so It might go in at an angle.

Lokar is sending me another Stick and ill adjust it and install it when it arrives.

First You need to drill a hole in the Shock tower like this



Next install a bolt and a nut to stabilize the bolt



install the dipsick sytem and bolt it down





For those who want to use the stock Dipstick you still can and this is what it will look like.

Cool. But I'd put a stainless spacer over those threads. :hidinghere: with all the nice work you've done, that thing sticks out like a sore thumb.
Its funny you said that I have one in the garage im working on that needs to still be polished I was going to polish it and install it tomorrow.
