Removing Dash

Any tips on removing the dash? My donor car has an all black dash I want to use, and I've started taking it out, but I'm not sure exactly how to go about it. I printed out the alldata instructions, but I'd rather hear from somebody who has done it. I have the instrument panel off, the panel cover, and the metal cover behind it. I took out the radio and the bezel above it. Also took out the air duct in front of the windshield ..

Lol, it's a lot more than I thought. Still doesn't seem too hard, but getting around the steering is what I'm really concerned about ..

first point of attack, take the spare car's dash out first instead of the car you're swapping it into

Lol, that's exactly what I'm doing. I would never remove parts on my car without the replacement already handy

I've done the heater core replacement. The following is pretty close, but I recommend checking against the shop manual for details. I recommend removing the shifter completely so it doesn't get damaged.

As you dig into it, you'll find all the misc screws/bolts that need to come out. It's not hard - just take a long time. Ford put in a lot of un-needed harware.
