If have the car in neutral or have it in gear and press the clutch in i can rev the engine, when I engage the clutch and try to drive i have nothing...car wont go over 1100 rpms. What the hell can be wrong?? No codes or check engine light HELP

really dumb question... are you able to move into all the gears? It sounds like it's stuck in third which when the clutch is fully engaged could cause the engine to bog. Sounds like something in the driveline that the engine is having difficulty overcoming. What that is, i'm not sure. If in neutral and you jack the back end up, do the wheels spin freely? As 94gt said, is the Ebrake on?

The brake is not on lol. Yes if put it in gear. 1st reverse and let the clutch out it grabs and the car will not go over 1100 rpms even with the gas pedal held to the floor,,,if I step on the clutch it will rev or if I put it in neutral it will rev

Yes with it in neutral it moves, just when there's a load on the transmission the motor wont put out any rpms

There has been a miss i been chasing down since I got the car but its a slight one, im thinking its possible my tyanny is blown up or the clutch is shot

sounds like a failing cam or crank position sensor. they usually operate on an oscillating signal so frequently they will cause issues before they will throw a CEL/MIL.

what ever the case may be it's definitely not the clutch. as someone else mentioned, are you sure you don't have a bent clutch fork? i.e. you think you're in first but you're in 3rd? didn't get a very clear response to a prior inquiry to this...

Justin, im in first it does it in reverse as well. The day it happened i was just driving along shifter into second let the clutch out and it just wouldn't go over 11to12 hundred rpms. I stepped on the clutch pedal hit the gas the motor revved up. I stopped put it in first revved it up to about 2k rpms started to pull out the rpms dropped as soon as the clutch grabs. Even with the pedal buried to the floor it will not go above 11to12 hundred rpms...

Whats your TPS voltage at idle and WOT? Whats your fuel pressure? does it pop or backfire more then normal at idle? A cam/crank position sensor would likely throw a code quickly, although it is a possibility. Does it chug and pop at 1100rpm? What if you dump the clutch while at a higer RPM?

I checked the fuel pressure today and it is holding up under a load, it seems to idle alright at idle, I did try to dump the clutch and it does the same thing, but yeah the car just chugs at 1100 rpms it bucks and spits
