Me too thats the one I will buy if I go through with this, ill need to paint the top as well So it will be an expensive addition.

I can see it....However, If I had a 'vert, I would paint it body color, I would also add the 12 inch Hood, Roof, and rear decklid stripes...By doing that it may look complete instead of an add on.

My other concern, is that, even at cruising speed...and, I would ask other people that have them about "Squeaks and Rattles" (ie: 2002 and newer T-Birds are notorious for that ...and they leak too)...I am sure it will look good but it crossed my mind.

I really like that. i've seen hardtops for 60s mustangs for years and wondered why they were never produced for newer ones. Thats the ONLY way I would ever own a convertable.. I hate the rag top look and they just dont last like a hard top. You have to really like verts to own one. Thats an awesome compromise. I say do it for sure and get a good color match or even have your car blended to the top so it looks perfect. Most people would never even know its a vert haha

Im liking the Cobra hard top too, I wonder how the top would look black with my red car?

after having owned a miata with a removable hardtop here is the best advice i can give you. if you can't check fitment before you buy it, don't buy it. Worst thing that can happen is the hardtop doesn't have a good seal and whenever it rains it'll leak... just my opinion.

Here is a friend of mines 1995 Cobra which came factory with a hartop, but its a convertible I really like the simplicity of this style.

I suppose, but compared to what im fixing to drop on another car it wont seem like much If my traiing session yesterday didnt go well I may have been adding a few fenders to the VERT. Since I was having surgery this AM I decided to train the wife on how to drive the VERT yesterday in case I wanted to ride around this weekend. She didnt do to bad and caught on very fast considering I have a Full manual automatic with OD. Damn its a different story when your sitting on the passenger side when she took off I looked at the boost gauge and were at 10PSI almost instantly thanks to my TC. The car was pulling like a beast or it felt like it anyhow and i told her to slow the **** down, she scared the **** out of me and we never went past 12PSI. She said how does it feel now that your in my seat LOL I suppose she has a point since Ill run it WOT onc ei na while.

If noone's in the car and you do WOT pulls ... does anyone believe it?

VIDS or it didn't happen. :)

On topic ... the hardtop on the SN95 looks sweet, I'd rock it.

I say if your dead set getting a hardtop then at least get the matching body style. The style you have linked to is the 05-09 style and it just doesn't seem like it looks right to me, or am I just the only one?. On the right side of the link it does look like they are coming out with the 03-04 style and I would wait for that instead that looks really clean and almost like a factory hard top. But that's just me.

We could just trade cars though if you really want a hardtop that bad lolollol

So what do you boys think of this black on red hartop riding on my vert now? My wife absolutely loves it which is a plus and th eback window needs to be tinted to make it all come together.
