Like the title says, im looking to see what motors will drop right into our cars with little to no modification. I recently had a vlave drop into the cylinder, and it tore everything up:(, and im in the market for a new motor and i was wondering what all would fit right in and bolt up to the t-45.
All help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Drop in a pi motor, Its the most straight forward swap :yes
+1 the PI motors are still 2v just disconnect everything from the motor pull it out then drop the new one in and reconnect everything. Good time to change the motor mounts while your at it. Or be like everyone else and throw in a mark 8 or a 5.4 triton from a f-150 lol.

how easy would it be to do a mk8 motor?

what has to be modified with mark 8. im under the impression that it drops right in besides stupid easy stuff like intake location . o_O

That link is seriouse making me rethink my N/A route... god that setup is damn good looking and the numbers are amazing...

Will that setup work on our 96 engines with a PI swap? I thought our bottom ends were only good till 400 HP or was it 500

Edit: Whats a good price for 01-04 motors? I been looking around and found a couple around 1k with 70-100k miles

Theres alot of motors that will bolt in.

Just every other motor your going to need to modify the harness and a list of other things
Oh, alright. I think I'm just going to get another 2v PI motor and pray for the best

Mark Viio or go home. too cheap to get a pi motor >_> then while you have the mark motor mod it before putting it in. its drop in uses same harness generally since the motor will come with everything on it.
