So excited my Lug's and Spacers are coming tomorrow.
Turns out I cant do paint, I cant really.. this is embarassing..

But I cant afford to buy the Paint for the rims quite yet. :eek

Question about my Diablo tuner, on the "Modify parameters" option there is a WOT section that says "Open Loop 2k-4k" and "Open Loop 4k-7k" What does that mean exactly?
open loop means that the O2 sensor reading aren't considered in air/fuel tables...I.E. the computer won't adjust the AFR based upon the front o2s

no, there is a air fuel table that the computer goes by instead of adjusting it based on the o2 sensors
Is this because during wot the o2 sensors shut off?

My tuner was saying something like that cause we cant do a WOT datalog until i get my wideband wired in.

Yeah, I believe during WOT the ECU goes open loop and doesn't use the o2 sensors

Yup. At a certain throttle position (usually 85% and greater) the car goes into "open loop" which means that it simply uses a set fueling table based on MAF/IAT input because the HOS sensors do not respond quick enough to keep a stable A/F ratio.

The opposite is closed loop, where the ECM adjusts parameters based on feedback from the HOS.

Low throttle is like mixing a drink where you pour in some mix, pour in some liquor and taste it. The tasting is like the HOS feedback. It tastes a little strong (rich) you add less liquor (fuel).

Open loop is like "**** it. Splash of booze, then some mix." You know it's in the ballpark, probably a little on the strong (rich) side, but you're just going to slam it down anyway, before you can check.

skargon, i have a black steering wheel i'd sell you for cheap.. it doesn't have an airbag but damn it'd look better than your one now.
