What Did You Do To Your Sixxer Today?

Once someone has put a Grant steering wheel in my car, How hard would it be to go back to stock steering wheel...? Or even a differant wheel for christ sake.. This ones so Fugly I'm getting fed up with it.

I was looking at the dash behind the stereo bezel and it looks different than a 94-99 dash. Is the anything special I need to do for the double din swap?

yes the dash in an 01+ is quite different than a 94-00 in the center section

and im pretty sure you mean 2 single dins

double din is what came stock in 01-04

there is a lot of extra plastic material on the bottom of the 01 up dashes where the defrots and such switches went which will probably have to be cut out in order to fit the older 2 single din bezel

but i dont know for sure

all i know is that i tried to put an 01+ bezel in my 00 and it wouldnt fit smoothly without cutting the bezel down

lol we told you that last year and you got pissed, steering wheel wrap might be a good start/band aid

Car's been running rough and hard starting, all signs said fuel pump. So I planned to change the fuel pump... Dropped the tank and realized the "fuel tank vapor hose", I think it's called, was disconnected... Connected it and I'm gonna run it on the old fuel pump for another day, hoping that was the problem

got a ticket for having blue license plate LEDs.

111 bucks. yipee...

in other news. i got my car ready for its 2 month over due inspection. put the exhaust back on, swapped to regular headlights (my hids are only lo beams), and put the other license plate lights in. i better pass.

Ripped the passenger airbag out and also took the steering wheel out. Might as well swap out steering wheels while the car is ooc. Decided im not driving it until i can get my front brakes to lock up completely.
