T hooked me up with the fat medium claybar instead of the little one cuz it wasn't in the box when I got it. Sweet.

Not detailing related but still interesting nonetheless:

I killed my Mach 1...

Went to an event yesterday called Mustangs vs Camaros here locally which was a day of drag racing and autocrossing. First time I've ever done either. I got two drag races in (which I absolutely suck at plus I was wheel hopping like a bitch - 13.8@108mph/14.1@109mph), then got about 6 autocross runs in. On the 7th autocross run my car stalled towards the last few turns and wouldn't turn back over. Luckily I had enough speed to coast out of the track and into a parking spot.

Anyway, there is a short-to-ground somewhere that is blowing my ECM fuse. The performance shop that put on the event spent a few hours trying to figure out what was causing it to blow but no luck. So after a $320 tow truck trip, the car is now dead sitting outside their shop waiting to be fixed. The guys were really awesome and I know they'l be able to figure out what's wrong, but man what a bummer. Oh well, the autocross that I did get to do was awesome.

Taken a few green ones home to use on my interior. I think they're the same ones that are on DC

Well I drank enough last night and passed out before I edited any video/pictures. . . I did take this picture before the trackday though:

That's all good man.
I drank way too much and threw up all over my buddies bathroom and then a little on his couch before I passed out. Detailing wise, I cleaned all of that **** up this morning

I used my rupes 15 and 21, both yellow pads, with FG400.

Looks good Terminal.

Love the looks of that mustang, Phil. Look forward to seeing more pics when it's done.
Thanks. Looked for any sort of hazing or trails and didn't see much. Have a black vehicle next weekend with the same steps. Well see how well that turns out.

What kind of vehicle is it? Are you gonna try to 1 step it or 2?

Oh yeah, forgot the detailing related part: I spent the week detailing the Mach 1. All I can say is, I really need some actual cutting pads and microfiber cutting pads. I couldn't get all the defects out of the Mach. I think DSG may be a tri-coat, I'm not really sure but feel like I remember reading that. So perhaps the DSG paint is almost as hard as my wife's 2012 Mustang paint. Uber medium polish pads just aren't cutting it though.

I took some pictures but even with a halogen or LED light I wasn't able to get very good shots. Plus I deleted all of them before I uploaded them to the computer on accident. Oh well.
