Cleaned up the engine bay a little today. Clipped some wires, painted a few spots of the engine bay, repainted the shroud. Looking real clean.

I took it out for a romp. Lots of fun. Ran great, tons of power, no traction.

The problem came after I brought it back home, let it idle for about 5 min and pull into the garage. As soon as I pulled it in I see the temp gauge start to rise. I immediately kill it and leave the fan running. It gets about 3/4 up the gauge before coming back down. Lovely. Didn't puke coolant, didn't budge from operating temp while driving around, just went up while back.

I'm hoping it's just an airflow issue. I don't recall hearing the high speed fan kick on, so hopefully it's just that, maybe mixed a little with inadequate radiator.

But hell, have some pictures. Pretty pleased with how they turned out.
Get rid of those wheels... NAO!

Spacers should be here sometime between Friday and next Wednesday. As soon as those are here I can put the new wheels/tires on.
Wheel spacers for the rear wheels? Thats what Im going to do. What size spacers you going with?

the wheel and spacer combo looks good. Did you have to cut down the old wheel studs for the wheels to fit on with the 1" spacer?

Nope. Didn't touch the stock studs. Wheels had recesses that didn't require cutting them down.

Wheels look good, vast improvement.

-lower
-cobra skirts
-spoiler

-PERFECTION!
It has 03 Cobra skirts on it. :screwy:

Still undecided on spoiler or not though. The spoilerless look has grown on me.

Whoops. I see the skirts now. This computer monitor at work is absolutely terrible. I think it was the reflection from the ground onto your car (or something)on the new pics you posted. It made them look different.

A saleen spoiler or 03/04 cobra spoiler would look good. Otherwise I would leave it without the spoiler.
Car looks really good though!

Wheels look weird with the spacer... poke out to far. Why did you need the spacer? I've never heard of a mustang that wouldn't fit 315's (new edge at least)

Well for me at least, I want the spacer to give a wider stance in the rear and to fill in the fenders. Stock,, the wheels and tires look too tucked in. Wicked may have a different reason. Though I am suspecting he did it for the same reason.

I had to run 1" spacers due to clearance with the IRS. Even with low profile bolts I needed about 1/2" to clear the bolt.

Plus I think the Proxes TQ run much wider than other tires like the Nittos. Mine are 315s but they poke out way more than others running the same combo with different brand tires.
